The Serving Leader Workshop Series
A series of six modules that prepare leaders to apply the five leadership actions for serving leaders. This workshop is conducted by certified leadership development facilitators. This training moves the principles of servant leadership from theory to practical application for the learners existing work environment.
The Serving Leader Assessments
The first step to improvement as a serving leader is to get an assessment of where you are currently in your effective application of the five actions. SHIP has developed both self-assessments and 360° assessments. The 360° assessments provide evaluations of the leader’s style from manager, peer and employee compared to the leader’s self-evaluation.
The Serving Leader Facilitation Workshops
These multi-day programs prepare serving leaders to train others to be serving leaders. This program is conducted by SHIP facilitators or master facilitators from SHIP partner organizations.
The Serving Leader Online Community of Learning
This is a global online meeting place and resource center for Serving Leaders and Serving Leader facilitators/coaches. Members of this site are able to test best practices as well as request advice and assistance from other leaders for handling challenges and resolving issues. The site also provides access to coaches and facilitators who can be a resource for rehearsing or practicing the application of serving leader actions.
The Serving Leader: A Practical Guide
This 6-Module training system equips leaders with step-by-step tools and guidance to implement the Five Powerful Actions introduced in the best-selling book The Serving Leader. Each half-day module presents a different Action. A video case study takes participants inside a real organization where the leadership team has successfully implemented the Action, using a unique, new set of Serving Leader Key Behaviors. Participants assess the human and business impact of these Key Behaviors in other real-world case examples, and they collaborate throughout the session to progressively build practical, detailed Action Plans for implementing the Serving Leader Action in their own organizations.
