John Stahl-Wert
SHIP FounderDr. John Stahl-Wert is a founding partner of SHIP LLC, and former President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation and Serving Leaders. He is a Senior Fellow for the Center for Executive Leadership and writes a monthly column for Business Management Review, both based in Beijing. He also serves as Adjunct Faculty for Bakke Graduate University in Hong Kong as well as for Geneva College’s Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. John is a member of the National Speakers Association.
Jim Van Eerden
SHIP FOUNDERJim Van Eerden is a founding partner of SHIP, LLC and oversees SHIP’s Media Group. Prior to joining SHIP, Jim served as Managing Director of Helixx Partners where he has specialized in media and cause-driven entrepreneurship. His commentary involving blended value enterprises has appeared in USA TODAY and other publications, and he has been a speaker at the National Press Club and forums internationally, including a recent guest lectureship at Harvard on the subject of “Philanthropy 2.0.”
Ken Smith
SHIP FOUNDERKen Smith is a co-founder of SHIP, LLC and advises the company in many areas, but especially in the development of its licensed product and corporate training services and strategies.
He is an executive or active investor in several Pittsburgh-based start-up enterprises including Etcetera Edutainment and Thorley Industries. He serves as an outside Board member for Provident Agency and is a member of Blue Tree Allied Angels.
